This year marks a significant milestone as SIFST celebrates its 50th anniversary, commemorating five decades of advancing food science and technology, fostering professional development, and strengthening connections between academia, industry, and government. We are deeply grateful for the unwavering support of our members and stakeholders who have contributed to this remarkable journey.

As part of the evening’s celebrations, we were honoured to recognise outstanding achievements through the Food Product Award (FPA) Presentation Ceremony. Congratulations to all award recipients for your dedication, professionalism, and contributions to the food industry. Your accomplishments reflect the high standards and excellence that SIFST continues to champion.

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Professor Jeya Henry for delivering the insightful professional talk, “Ultra-Processed Food: Separating Facts from Fiction.” His thought-provoking presentation provided valuable perspectives on the evolving discourse surrounding food processing, nutrition science, and public health, sparking meaningful discussions among attendees.
