Singapore Institute of Food Science and Technology (SIFST)
The Singapore Institute of Food Science and Technology (SIFST) is a professional society of food scientists, food technologists, chemists, biochemists, microbiologists, engineers, educators and other technical personnel working in the field of food science and technology.
Food scientists and technologists are professionals who apply their scientific and engineering knowledge and skills to food research, development, production, processing, packaging, marketing, distribution, evaluation and utilisation. They are the people who provide safe and quality food for us all to enjoy.
Any individual who is appropriately qualified (by education, special training or experience) can apply for membership of SIFST. In addition food and related companies are encouraged to apply as Corporate members.
