Introduction to the Singapore Food Toxicology Network
The Singapore Food Toxicology Network (SFTN) is a dynamic, informal, and voluntary platform dedicated to fostering scientific exchange and collaboration in the field of food toxicology. SFTN brings together professionals, researchers, and stakeholders across the food ecosystem to advance knowledge, share insights, and explore innovative approaches to food safety.
Objectives of the Network include:

Launch Announcement
SFTN was jointly launched by National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore Food Agency (SFA), and Singapore Institute of Food Science and Technology (SIFST) on 1 August 2024, during the Singapore International Food Forum (SIFF) 2024.
The launch was announced by Mr Damian Chan, CEO of SFA, who emphasized the network’s role as a community of practice aimed at growing interest and attracting new talent to Singapore’s food toxicology ecosystem.
