Food Product Award 2026 – 2028

Celebrating Excellence, Innovation & Healthier Choices in Singapore’s Food Landscape

The Singapore Institute of Food Science & Technology (SIFST) is proud to open submissions for the SIFST Food Product Award 2026–2028, an esteemed recognition of outstanding achievements in food innovation, product excellence, and healthier choice formulation.

This cycle’s Awards will be presented across three categories:

  • SIFST Best Product Award (open to all entries)
  • SIFST Healthier Choice Award (open to products with Healthier Choice Symbol)
  • SIFST Innovation Award (open to all entries)

Food establishments—both local and international, owned by Singaporeans or Singapore-registered companies—are invited to submit commercially packaged food and beverage products launched within the past two years (2024–2026). Products sold online are also eligible.
Please note that medical, healthcare, health supplement, and pharmaceutical products are not permitted.

Entries for the Healthier Choice Award must comply with the Health Promotion Board (HPB) nutritional guidelines under the Healthier Choice Symbol Programme.
The Innovation Award will be evaluated based on originality and creativity in concept, formulation, processing technology, packaging, and presentation.

All submitted products must be commercially available in the local market at the time of judging across any retail or online distribution channel.

Participation Fees

  • First product entry: SGD 480
  • Each subsequent entry: SGD 280

Participants may submit multiple entries with the corresponding fees.

A completed official entry form and payment must be submitted to the Secretariat by 15 March 2026.
Where applicable, a consent letter from the product owner, developer, franchisor, or licensor is required.

Submission of inaccurate or false information will result in disqualification and forfeiture of fees.

The Organising Committee reserves the right to disqualify entries at its discretion; disqualified products will not be evaluated.

  • SIFST Best Product – Winner: SGD 3,000
  • SIFST Best Product – Merit: SGD 1,000
  • SIFST Innovation – Winner: SGD 1,500
  • SIFST Innovation – Merit: SGD 500
  • SIFST Healthier Choice – Winner: SGD 1,500
  • SIFST Healthier Choice – Merit: SGD 500

Important Dates

  • Entry Form Submission Deadline: 15 March 2026
  • Sample Submission Deadline: 10 April 2026
  • Award Announcement: May 2026 (date to be confirmed)
